Filipino loves music. This culture is very much reflected in SGI Philippines
as well. Each division has a chorus group: there are “Mabuhay chorus group”
and “Sampaguita chorus group” in the Women’s division.
Men’s Division Chorus Group composed of good looking middle-aged men. YMD
chorus group is composed of young men while YWD chorus group of young women.
They sing beautiful songs when we have big meetings.
YMD Brass Band
Recently reorganized, they are now practicing so hard to perform
before a large audience. Although still few in numbers, their dreams targets are
larger than life.
YWD Diamond Kotekitai
Their animated figures of cheerfully playing music in their red and white
uniforms are a mainstay in SGI Philippines.
They are composed of YWD members ranging from 15 years old to their late
twenties and with instruments like flute, fife and percussions. Practicing
so hard while attending school and work.

YD Dance Group
Composed of both Young Men's Division and Young Women's Division
members, their high-spirited performance is always overwhelming the
audience.
Radio Group
“Let’s Talk About SOKA!” is broadcasted every Sunday 9pm. This program
is handled by youth division members, headed by the Youth Division Chief,
Mr. Ronald Hernandez.
They discuss mainly our activities, teachings, our mentor and sometimes
invite guests to talk about peace, culture and education.
