The Soka Gakkai International found way here in the Philippines and took
root in the early 1959. It provides a base for faith, practice and study
of Nichiren Daishonin's teaching throughout the Philippines. It exists
to guide each member's faith in the Gohonzon, thereby enabling each person
to attain absolute happiness or Buddhahood.

because you both have faith in the Lotus Sutra, will be reborn there together!

| World Peace Gongyo Meeting was held last June 7, 2009 |

The World Peace Gongyo Meeting for June was radiantly held under blue skies
in the Youth Culture Center (YCC) in Silang, Cavite on June 7 (Sunday)
– simultaneous to the ones being held in the SGI Philippines Culture Center
in Timog, Quezon City and Manila Culture Center in Escolta, Manila.

| Nichiren Daishonin's Birthday Commemorative Gongyo Meeting was held |

Last February 16, 2009, a commemorative gongyo meeting to celebrate Nichiren
Daishonin's Birthday was held at the SGI Philippine Culture Center in Quezon
City, Metro Manila. A total of 650 members gathered together in high spirit.
