Happy New Year to all of you in this radiant "Year of Advancement
and Victory"!
Nothing gives me pleasure and joy other than to welcome a bright new year
that is filled with hope together with Sensei and Mrs. Ikeda who are in
high spirits more than ever. Congratulations again to everyone!
Because of everyone's earnest effort in SGI activities last year, we were
able to make a victorious year in expanding our kosen-rufu movement. For
this, I would like to sincerely thank everyone, thank you very much!
In Sensei's New Year's Message read awhile ago, we have been warmly encouraged
by Sensei as he said, "Please unite together harmoniously, warmly
supporting and encouraging one another, and extend the SGI's circle of
friendship widely throughout society with courage and wisdom."
This year as well, let us all advance in great victory here at SGI Philippines as we enter a bright new era in the advancement of kosen-rufu.
According to Sensei's message, "Let's cheerfully advance with the
united spirit of 'many in body, one in mind.' Let's leave a joyful and
exhilarating record of ' brave and vigorous exertion.' Let's energetically
and enthusiastically foster capable leaders" who are precious successors
of SGI Philippines " towards the 80th anniversary of Soka Gakkai's
founding" on 2010.
Moreover, making the Gakkai spirit of "oneness of mentor and disciple"
as our foundation, let us strive to make our brilliant lives filled with
happiness bloom as we endeavor in chanting daimoku and in doing shakubuku
living for our noble mission for kosen-rufu and as proud disciples of our
great mentor, Ikeda-Sensei.
As members of SGI Philippines, let us accumulate boundless good fortune
within our lives this year as well as we make great advancement and great
victory together with our General Director Mr. Niitsu and Women's Division
Chief Mrs. Shibata.
In closing, allow me to greet you another Happy New Year!
