World Peace Commemorative Gongyo Meeting (May 6, 2007)

Good morning to one and all!
I would first like to sincerely thank all of you for participating in the May World Peace Commemorative Gongyo Meeting despite of having to come very early in the morning and coming from far distant places, thank you so much again!
We, at SGI Philippines were able to cheerfully welcome May 3, Soka Gakkai Day with great victory together with Sensei and Mrs. Ikeda who are becoming ever healthy. For this, I heartily congratulate you all!
In commemoration of May 3, Sensei has composed a poem dedicated to all the members throughout the world.
The gist of which is that: How happy I am. Together, all the SGI members throughout the world welcome May 3, Soka Gakkai Day in great victory, crying songs of triumph.
Even for us at SGI Philippines, while we receive felicitations from Sensei, the new organization was announced and we were able to make a fresh start filled with joy. Congratulations!
At SGI Philippines, let us boldly, cheerfully and joyfully advance and
triumph to a new age together with Chairman Yasuaki Niitsu, General Director
Roger Cabauatan, Women’s Division Chief Shibata and Men's Division Chief
Manuel Urrutia for the sake of the happiness, health, prosperity and development
of all the members of the Philippines as well as for the sake of peace.
Now, at the Headquarters Leader’s Meeting celebrating May 3 where I was
able to attend together with General Director Roger Cabauatan, Sensei taught
6 important points that I would like to share:
1. We have at length, entered a new field of battle for kosen-rufu.
While mutually cheering each other's strenuous effort,
let us start our advance toward victory.
2. There is no greater pride other than the satisfaction and
joy derived in struggling for the sake of kosen-rufu wherein
the benefits that we derive is boundless.
3. The victory of our respect-worthy members of the Women’s Division is the victory of the SGI – it is also linked to the victory
of kosen-rufu. As such, thank you very much
to all the members of the Women's Division!
4. We, who embrace the great philosophy of life, are leading the age. Let us boldly and valiantly advance with such pride
in our hearts.
5. The Mystic Law is the great law that permeates the entire universe. It is a treasure law. And that Law is embraced
by all the members. That is why, there is nothing
to fear and there is no way for the members to become unhappy forever.
6. If you are going to put up a fight, then better fight enjoyably! Laugh away difficulties and cheerfully advance!
Together, let us live a good life and triumph!
Let us all make these 6 points of Sensei’s guidance as our own great conviction and brightly advance and open a new era of Philippine kosen-rufu together with Chairman Niitsu, General Director Roger Cabauatan and Women’s Division Chief Shibata.
